help with a question

I need help with this thing please.

Read “Myth 13: Black Children are Verbally Deprived” and “Myth 20: Everyone Has an Accent Except Me” and then write a one-page, single-spaced reflection on the following prompt:

Imagine that in a conversation with a friend, you describe what you are learning in linguistics: that all dialects, both standard and non-standard, are linguistically equal. Your friend says, “That is just not true. Those nonstandard dialects are just ignorant—people who don’t know how to use English correctly.” How would you respond? What examples, analogies, data, and/or articles would you use to support your response?
