I need to do a paper based on Robert Penn Warren’s “Why Do We Read Fiction”

describes fiction as the representation of two of life’s driving forces,
conflict and reconciliation.  Select
either the Atwood or Barthelme story. 
According to this story, which is more central to fiction:  conflict or reconciliation?
